Another vote for Hexagon. Go on a weeknight to actually get a table.

The Hexagon in Kensington is great. Huge game wall and the staff teach rules.

London Drugs does them on the spot. The downtown location is quick.

Stoney Trail is the bypass but it adds distance. Pick your poison.

Try a test drive at 7:30am before you accept the job. Worth the experiment.

It is genuinely rough. I did that commute for a year and moved.

Southbound in the morning, northbound in the evening. Plan around it if you can.

It is bad. Budget 45 to 60 minutes north to south at peak.

Anywhere with the game on and decent wings, honestly. The atmosphere follows the crowd.

I like the pubs in Kensington for games. Less rowdy than downtown.
