Thinking of taking the kids to the zoo this weekend. With admission prices these days, is it worth it for a half day visit?

Yes, especially with kids. The Canadian Wilds section is great and the penguins are a hit.

Go early to beat the crowds. We spent 4 hours there easily with a 5 year old.

Worth it. The Dinosaurs Alive exhibit is extra but the regular admission covers plenty.
